“ Mai’s journey into tattooing began early—at just 13 or 14 years old! “

Sawadee Krab! My name is Montree Precha, but everyone calls me Mai.

Born and raised in Bangkok, I’ve always loved the vibrant energy of the city.

When I’m not in the studio creating tattoos, I spend my free time exploring the world through the lens of my camera as a freelance photographer, riding my bicycle with my crew around the city, or escaping to nature for a camping trip.

One of my favorite things about Thailand is its incredible beaches. While my busy schedule doesn’t allow for as many getaways as I’d like, I make the most of every chance I get to recharge and soak in the beauty of the seaside.

My journey into tattooing began early—at just 13 or 14 years old! Curious about the pain and process, I borrowed a friend’s tattoo machine and inked the letter “M” on my leg. From that moment, I knew tattooing would become my life’s work and passion.

Of all my tattoos, two hold a special place in my heart: a tattoo machine on my arm, which symbolizes my dedication to the craft, and a creepy, colorful clown on my upper arm, which reflects my playful and creative side.

As a father, I strive to bring the same kindness and respect I show at home into my work. My clients often comment on my calm and caring demeanor, which helps make every tattoo session enjoyable and relaxed.

My favorite styles to tattoo are minimalist designs and traditional sak yants. Whether it’s a clean, modern piece or a sacred, meaningful design, I approach every tattoo with precision and passion.
