Hi, I’m Syran, but most people just call me Run. I’m 30 years old and originally from the culturally rich city of Chiang Mai. I made the move to Bangkok just over a year ago and have loved immersing myself in the dynamic energy of the city while continuing to pursue my passion for tattooing.

I’ve been tattooing for a little over 9 years now, and every day, I feel grateful to be part of this creative and transformative industry.

One of the things I love most about Thailand is its culture. Every region has its own unique history, traditions, and way of life, and all of them are beautiful in their own way. This deep appreciation for my country’s diversity and heritage inspires me in my work and my personal life.

My first tattoo was The Staff of Hermes, inspired by my love for speed and adrenaline. Back in my university days, I was a longboard enthusiast and admired the gods of speed and motion. A senior artist, who has also created many of my favorite tattoos, inked this piece for me, making it even more special.

I have a few tattoos that are particularly meaningful to me. One of them is a tattoo machine—a tribute to my craft—accompanied by a story about the tragic events of October 14, 1973, when students seeking political reform in Thailand faced brutal consequences. This piece serves as a reminder of resilience and the power of change. Another favorite is a portrait of my father, placed over my heart, symbolizing the profound respect and love I have for him.

My favorite style to tattoo is black and grey realism. I’m passionate about creating highly detailed and lifelike designs that resonate deeply with my clients.
